This post could just have easily been titled “Our August Trip to Vilnius” since that’s the topic I am covering the most. My August was pretty ordinary until the day for that trip arrived. I do have two other favorites, though, so I’ll start with them. Here we go!
July 2023 Favorites!
Not a whole lot of favorites to share from July. The oppressive heat kept us inside a lot, but it still seems like the month went by pretty fast. And just as the month went by fast, this post will also be pretty quick!

What’s Up Wednesday on Thursday!
HE’S HERE!
Got a text from Danny today at 12:07 p.m. CT, which would be 8:07 p.m. in Vilnius.
We also have been told he is 21.26 inches long and has lots of hair. Mom and baby are doing well.
Talked to Danny on the phone late this afternoon. Erin went into labor around 10 or so last night, which would have been 2 in the afternoon here. So close to 21 hours later, give or take, she delivered her firstborn!
He already has my heart! Can’t wait until I can hold him! The name has not been decided yet, so we are anxious to find out what to call this sweet boy. For now, I’ll just call him PRECIOUS! 🥰
