February is here! Time to look back through January and remember my favorite things, events, and activities! January typically is a month that drags by and seems to last forever to me, but this January went by fairly quickly.
Nov/Dec 2022 Favorites!
It’s pretty unusual for me, but I got all the way through November and only had one favorite on my list for the month. Rather than do a favorites post with only one item, I decided to wait and combine November with my December favorites.
Golden in Antigua!
Two days before our 50th wedding anniversary, Big Eagle and I were up around 3:30 in the morning getting ready to head to the airport and begin our week-long celebration in Antigua! We first flew to Miami and connected there to continue on to Antigua. It was late afternoon when we arrived at our resort: The Blue Water Resort & Spa on the north side of the island!
Our Lithuania/Poland Trip!
On the last Tuesday of October, around 4 in the afternoon, Big Eagle and I boarded our flight to Frankfurt! From there we connected to Helsinki, and finally arrived in Vilnius, Lithuania late Wednesday afternoon. Our son Danny and his wife Erin picked us up at the airport. I’m excited to finally share about our trip! The number of pictures I took is CRAZY, and I really had a hard time narrowing them down. To say that this is a heavily-loaded photo post is an understatement, so consider yourself duly warned.
October 2022 Favorites!
This is a L-O-N-G overdue post today! Around mid-October, my dog Annie died, so that pretty much overshadowed everything else for a while. I’m still missing her. The house seems lonely without her in it. There WERE favorite moments during the month, though, and life does go on, so the happy moments need to be shared. I’m starting it off with some news I’ve been keeping bottled up for quite some time now, so let’s get to it! Read more
She was SUCH a good girl!
Our baby dog left us this past Thursday, leaving a big hole in our lives. She wasn’t actually a baby anymore at 14 years old, but we still called her that. I am writing this post as a celebration of her life. Read more

Yikes! I’m way late making this post! It’s practically the middle of May already! The main big thing we did that was a favorite in April was go to Walt Disney World, so prepare yourself for lots of Disney pics.
