I was a little confused last week when I saw fellow bloggers posting their final updates on their fall bucket lists. I didn’t realize when I began it, that it was to last for only two months, as opposed to the usual three. Now I see why some were beginning a Christmas bucket list. But since I made my list with the idea in mind that I had 3 months to complete it, I’ve decided that that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it! 😜 So I’m continuing down my own path here with this Update #2, and I will post my final update on Friday, December 20th.
Update #2
Health & Fitness
(✔) Schedule my annual mammogram. (See Update #1)
(✔) Complete the Orangetheory Fitness Hell Week challenge and as many 90-minute workouts as my schedule allows.
As you can see, I did my 5 of the 7 workouts during Hell Week and earned my shirt!
I like the pleated detail in the back. 😊 I’ve also done all but one of the 90-minute workouts that have been offered.
( ) Establish a weekday routine. Still working on this one. Why is this so hard?
Joy
( ) Create my gallery wall. I am including a couple of picture ledges on my gallery wall, and I have purchased these. I’ve also made templates of the pictures and items I have to hang. I’ll use these templates to get it all arranged the way I want prior to putting holes in the wall. I still need to secure a few more items. It may be that I hang what I have and add to it over the course of a few weeks (or months).
(✔) Decorate for fall. (See Update #1.)
( ) Complete our interior update on our house. This one is not looking like it’s going to get done. Maybe partway, but not to completion before my bucket list deadline.
(✔) Spread bluebonnet seeds. (See Update #1.)
Learning & Growth
( ) Educate myself about improving my blog. No progress.
(✔) Submit applications for a seasonal job. (See Update #1.)
Relationships
( ) Attend a high school or college football game with Big Eagle. Haven’t done this one.
( ) Host some kind of holiday get together. I’ve sent out invites and have received the RSVPs. We’ll be getting together on December 3rd, and I’m looking forward to it!
So I believe I’ve only actually been able to check off one more item this month, but I’ve made progress on a couple of others, too. I really like doing these bucket lists, because they motivate me to do things I might otherwise just let slide. And most of them are things I really DO want to do. I’m just such a terrible procrastinator. Wait a minute, I think maybe I mean to say I’m such a GREAT procrastinator.
How about you? Been completing any bucket lists or to-do lists? Anybody else have a procrastination problem? And how about this morning routine thing? Do you have a morning routine that works for you, or do you just let the day unwind itself however it may? Tell it all in the comments below!
